About me

Omar Al Khan is the Managing Partner and founder of ParkPoint Parking Solutions, the company has three main divisions: parking services, digital platform, and automation products. Omar believes that great economies thrive on innovation. He is aspired to see Bahrain to have a great entrepreneurial culture where its youngsters are not afraid to innovate and do things differently, with the country’s system treating entrepreneurs as its most valuable asset. Omar’s belief in innovation as the main solution has diverted his attention to technology, where he has announced the first parking app in the Kingdom, which was launched in 2018, along with many exciting projects like automated operations, memberships, and subscription schemes. Omar has also established other brands such as Barastea, a café located in Manama Souq; Rosemary, a catering kitchen; and has played a managerial role in Pet Arabia, the largest chain of pet stores in Bahrain. Besides the technical aspects of businesses, Omar believes that mental and emotional strength share equal significance to the technical side of the business, where resilience and persistence are key, and taking full responsibility of ourselves is what will lead to a better outcome. Since March 2016, Omar has been a member of EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) Bahrain, with a growing interest in all start-ups and entrepreneurs' activities taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
